Scope of Surgical Procedures

Gastric surgery: gastric resections, gastrectomy, organ-preserving procedures.
Biliary surgery: liver surgery (hemihepatectomy, liver resection), cholecystectomy, reconstructive and restorative procedures.
Pancreatic surgery: procedures for pancreatic necrosis, pancreaticoduodenectomy, distal pancreatectomy, longitudinal pancreaticojejunostomy.
Intestinal surgery: hemicolectomy, subtotal intestinal resection, colectomy.
Hernia surgery:repair of ventral, femoral, inguinal, and umbilical hernias, treatment of hiatal hernias.
Minor proctology: hemorrhoidectomy, treatment of anal fissures, treatment of paraproctitis.

Novelty

    1. Laparoscopic procedures: laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic treatment of hiatal hernias, laparoscopic repair of abdominal wall hernias, laparoscopic removal of ovarian cysts, laparoscopic appendectomy.

    2. Minimally invasive surgical interventions:

  • ultrasound-guided puncture of cysts, liver abscesses, retroperitoneal abscesses, and omental bursa cysts;
  • endoscopic retrograde pancreatocholangiography (ERCP), endoscopic papillotomy (sphincterotomy), endobiliary stenting.
  • 3. Use of cord blood stem cells and cord tissue in the комплекс treatment of patients with pancreatic necrosis.

    4. In patients with severe pancreatitis, a marked increase in proteolytic activity in tissues and blood, along with pronounced endogenous intoxication, leads to depletion of stem cell reserves and suppression of reparative regeneration. Therefore, these patients are indicated for transplantation of cord blood stem cells, administered intravenously by slow infusion. This is associated with the release of growth factors, including neurotrophic growth factor, hepatocyte growth factor, endothelial growth factor, and others.

    5. Locally, viable cord tissue is used—living cells derived from the umbilical cord, which consists of one vein, two arteries, and the amnion (measuring approximately 4–5 cm × 10–12 cm, with an average area up to 40 cm²). The cord tissue is removed after 3 days. Local effects include hemostatic action, separation of viable pancreatic tissue from necrotic tissue, and prevention of post-necrotic fistulas and pancreatic cyst formation.
